ABOUT US
At Hornsby Tuition Centre, we take a personal interest in our students and in their progress. All lessons are taught by two very experienced and qualified teachers of Mathematics and Science, who also own and manage the business. We do not employ casual teachers or university students. This ensures stability and continuity for our students as they will have one teacher throughout their entire course.
Michael Leydon B.Sc., Grad.Dip.Ed. (UNSW) has taught Science for over 17 years and has been Head of Science in two schools. He is very experienced in teaching HSC Physics and Chemistry. Michael has also tutored Chemistry and Physics to students studying first year university courses, the International Baccalaureate and GAMSAT. He was previously the owner and manager of Michael’s Tutoring Pty Ltd where many of his students achieved excellent results.
Clive Meyers B.Ed., MA (Mathematics) has taught Mathematics for 25 years and has been Head of Mathematics in two schools. Clive is one of the authors of the Mathscape high school Mathematics textbook series. He has taught Mathematics at all levels for the HSC, including Extension 1 and Extension 2.
